7 Steps to Becoming Psychic

As is true of any natural talent, some of us are born innately knowing how to access and utilize our gifts. Other gifts may be dormant, requiring our time and attention to hone and refine. As much as our talents may define our avocations and dictate our vocations, I firmly believe we all possess an aptitude for cultivating our unique and individual spiritual gifts. What follows are seven steps to consider when discerning one’s spiritual birthright.
  1. Assess Your Motivation. So you think it would be cool to be the Long Island Medium and approach total strangers in your community with wow-factor insights you got from channeling their deceased loved ones. That’s reason enough to want to become psychic, right? Wrong! If your motivation is attention-seeking for wanting to be perceived by others as “special,” you’re starting off on the wrong foot. This work is not about impressing anyone or basking in adulation and accolades; it’s about desiring to serve others through humility as authentically as possible. We can’t completely rid ourselves of ego, but check yours at the door and you’re off to a good start.
  2. Assess Yourself. As a psychic medium, my body is my instrument, much like an athlete in Olympic training. I need to maintain as clean and clear and pure a channel as possible through which authentic information may flow. For me, this means no lying or cursing, drinking only water, consuming a largely plant-based diet, and exercising every day. How prepared are you for being physically, mentally-emotionally and spiritually fit? Are there lifestyle changes or habits that need to be addressed in order for you to become a proper channel?
  3. Acknowledge Your Higher Power. It doesn’t matter if you refer to it as God, Source, the Universe or Wonder Woman. Humbling yourself by recognizing that our world is not an accident and our existence is not happenstance is essential. Remember: it doesn’t come from you; it comes through you. Psychic work is a reciprocal relationship with the Higher Power. The more you raise your conscious awareness of the relationship, the more you will receive in terms of knowledge and understanding—not least of which is the comfort of feeling protected from evil energies.
  4. Connect Daily. In order to be infused with spiritual information, you’ve got to get used to “opening up” to it on a regular—if not daily—basis. Doing this requires committing to spending time in solitude, whether it be reflection, meditation and/or prayer. If you are unaccustomed to doing this, make a good habit of setting aside ten minutes each day to express gratitude, and gradually build from there. Many of those who have the hang of this discipline for extended periods are those of revered spiritual standing: the rabbi, the nun, the monk, the yogi and the guru.
  5. Know Your Guide(s). We all have at least one Spirit Guide—a formerly human soul, now in spirit, who has advanced to a position of guardianship and mentorship and is assigned to us uniquely, sort of like a glorified Jiminy Cricket. It is important to connect with your guides in the context of prayer to ward against anything nefarious slipping through to masquerade as a benign presence. Your guides are there to impress inspiration within you, direct your attention to opportunities and support you to advance spiritually. I couldn’t be accurate or authentic without mine.
  6. Assess Your Gifts. As you begin to experience heightened awareness, based on the preceding points, pay attention to how you are receiving intuitive information. This will enable you to discern your spiritual gifts, and whether they function in a solitary way or by blending two or more attributes. Do you see things in your mind’s eye (clairvoyance)? Do you have the impression of hearing things (clairaudience)? Do you sense things without knowing why (clairsentience)? Or do you smell or taste things (clairalience and clairgustance)? Practice by testing yourself in the domains that are a match for you.
  7. Inside-Out Approach. As you’re gaining momentum psychically, bear in mind that very few people are able to sustain themselves financially in this field. Just because you’ve amazed friends and family doesn’t obligate you to pursue becoming a professional psychic as a career path. This is not to discourage anyone from developing their spiritual gifts, but why not take an inside-out approach when applying them? That is, initiate your wisdom and positive influence over others beginning with where you are, whether that’s within your family, neighborhood or on the job. Bear in mind, not everything is something and not everyone welcomes having spiritual information foisted on them before they’re ready. Think in terms of simple and subtle ways to nurture others to see their own spiritual potential.

7 Things Your Loved Ones In Spirit Want To Tell You

See his link: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/7-things-your-loved-ones-spirit-want-tell-you-william-stillman

As a psychic medium, I find that many of my clients struggle with attaining a sense of closure about their deceased loved ones. Here are seven of the most common themes. I have encountered in my work, as conveyed by those in Spirit who wish to quell, calm and soothe the concerns and anxieties of family and friends.
1. They are at Peace. I’m not sure why, but this is the number one priority for so many grieving families. Rest assured that your deceased loved ones are okay, hunky-dory, and doing swell. Why wouldn’t they be? You shouldn’t need a psychic to tell you what your faith alone should tell you: that your loved ones have successfully transitioned to the Heavenly realm and are exactly where they should be, reunited with those loving comrades and animals who passed on before them. On occasion, I’ll encounter an earthbound soul, or ghost, but that is a rare exception to the rule, and it is advisable to assume that all is well. (And that includes those who have taken their own lives.)
2. Please forgive them. If your deceased loved one lied, stole, cheated or was abusive, oftentimes their Spirit desires to explain that misconduct—not as an excuse but to grant perspective. It is common for that individual to have had a very challenging upbringing in which they, themselves, may have been victimized. Without proper support or intervention for poverty, child abuse or mental illness, they may have succumbed to addictions and self-loathing, or they may have become perpetrators of abuse themselves. Your forgiveness scores them spiritual points and breaks a cancerous cycle for the healing opportunity it offers you as well.
3. They forgive you. It is not unusual for a surviving family member to struggle with guilt over the passing of a loved one, especially if there was stress and tension in the relationship. Oftentimes, there was a fight or estrangement right before the individual passed. In other instances, surviving family may be second-guessing themselves, agonizing over whether they made the proper decision to remove someone from life support. Please known that in the Heavenly realm, no one harbors revenge, resentment or anger whatsoever. In fact, they have been granted new lenses through which to perceive their lives with 360-degree clarity in an atmosphere of unconditional love. So please, release and relieve yourself from the pressure of the burden and the burden of the pressure—for the sake of your own well-being and peace of mind.
4. They passed as intended. This is a really tough concept for the layperson to embrace, particularly if their loved one passed under sudden or tragic circumstances. Would that we could all transition peacefully in our sleep; but real life dictates otherwise. As part of the privilege of enjoying free will, we’ve all be assigned exit points, highway markers on life’s journey at which place we have the option of dying. Recently, during one of my psychic events, an eight-year-old boy with autism came forward in Spirit to discuss why he had drowned. He said it was either that or being hit by a car (for his impulsive habit of running into traffic without looking), and the water as simply too irresistible. Regardless of how someone passes, it is indeed all part of a preordained master plan; and their greatest desire is to be remembered for how they lived, not how they died.
5. They will not interfere. In my opinion and experience, I have found it to be a misconception that our loved ones in Spirit are around us 24/7 with immediate accessibility. If this were true, it could potentially become an unhealthy obsession for some fragile and grieving families. Instead, I have most often been shown that our loved ones are busy learning in a virtual university environment of sorts. For having been granted the previously mentioned 360-degree enlightened vision, they recognize that it is not for them to intervene or rescue us from our own learning opportunities, except in dire emergency. That’s not to suggest that we shouldn’t avail ourselves of our spiritual protectors in times of need, as we each have Spirit Guides and Guardian Angels assigned to us.
6. You can sell their stuff. Those souls who have successfully transitioned to the Heavenly realm have released their earthly attachments to material possessions. If maintaining or preserving items from someone’s estate is logistically or financially burdensome, please don’t feel pressure or guilt if you decide it all must simply go. Your loved one wants what is in your very best interest and if that means donating, bequeathing or profiting from their possessions, then so be it. You may wish to retain a handful of meaningful heirlooms to pass down in the family but items that range from trivial to great cash value may be disposed of without concern.
7. You’ll hear from them in time. A lot of folks lament that they have not received a “sign” from their dearly departed, whether it’s been six days, six weeks or six years. It seems this will alleviate their worries over whether someone is “at peace.” The truth is, it typically takes a good three to six months for a soul to get reoriented to the Heavenly realm after passing. And, honestly, most people are simply not ready prior to this for still grieving the loss. As such, a grace period of adjustment is necessary for all concerned. It may also be that the loved one in Spirit has been attempting to communicate but his or her surviving family isn’t making the connection. Pay attention to vivid dreams, and tangible signs that may come in the form of aromas or music associated in memory with the loved one, in addition to the unusual appearance of coins, feathers, birds, insects and animals.
These affirmations are intended to comfort and assure those who are grieving a loss. Our loved ones in Spirit appreciate us honoring their memory but very much desire for us to continue living our lives to the fullest.

7 Things Psychics Want You To Know

I would like to share this post by William Stillman for clients to read as these are the rules I as well as most good psychics stand by. I think this post is an excellent read and will allow you as the client to realise what we can and cannot do for you.

See his post here: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/7-things-psychics-want-you-know-william-stillman
Here are some points to ponder when seeking the consultation of authentic psychics:
  1. We can’t manifest a romance for you. Or a baby, or a job. But, we can offer you intuitive insight about the steps you should consider to achieve your goal, whether it’s lifestyle adjustments, surrounding yourself with the proper people, or furthering your education or training. Opportunities rarely drop in our laps without investing some intention and energy into making them happen! Whenever I’ve guided someone in the proper direction—and they’ve agreed and followed through—they are absolutely glowing with the contentment of having taken charge and self-directed their dreams. And things usually only escalate proactively from there.
  2. We will not make major life decisions for you. This includes ending your marriage, leaving your job, terminating a pregnancy or even taking someone off life support. (Honestly, do you really want a stranger telling you what to do in these situations?) But, we can offer you options and choices based upon the intuitive information we are receiving, such as a “good, better and best-case” scenario. Ultimately, the rest is up to you and it is advisable that you also confide in people who know you best, such as family and friends, for advice.
  3. Connecting with deceased loved ones is not an on-demand service. You may desperately want to hear from your beloved father who passed on, but the reality is you cannot simply dial him up at will. The truth is, going into a psychic reading with such tunnel vision may prevent you from receiving other healing messages that may come through. With me, you have to expect the unexpected, as I usually get the person you’d least expect to hear from who has stepped forward to express remorse and ask your forgiveness. Oftentimes, too, once the most pressing message is delivered, it opens a passageway for others to step forward—which may just include the very soul you’re anticipating.
  4. You may not like everything you hear. This is not a reference to predicting death or tragedy—that’s not the style of authentic psychics. However, our role as intuitive counselors is that of an objective and impartial third party. We want you to succeed and be happy! If you need to clean up your act in order to get your life back on track, we are compelled to communicate just that. Remember: you will attract what you put out. You can’t expect sunshine and roses if you are a “Debbie Downer.” The best among us know how to frame such things in a compassionate yet diplomatic manner. After all, it could very well be just the tonic for what ails you. So, please be open to hearing whatever may come through knowing it is intended for your greatest good.
  5. Information from one psychic may not match that of another. Among the wonderful things about being human is that we are as unique and individual as each individual is unique. Our spiritual gifts and talents will be channeled through us singularly, colored by our life experiences and what we’ve been exposed to. Receiving information from one psychic that does not align precisely with another does not mean that anyone is any less qualified than the other. There are other variables to consider, such as the unique channeling just described. Even if you returned to the same psychic the very next day, the information has a likelihood of being completely different based on your mood, events in your life over the past 24 hours, or shifts in the energetic field around you. Primary to realize, however, is that you possess free will to do whatever you wish with the information you are receiving and to employ it to your best advantage.
  6. We’re not going to play “Stump the Psychic.” Your attempts to get us to say “the magic word,” such as naming your childhood dog or repeating your mother’s dying wish verbatim feels confrontational from the get-go, and may actually hinder the psychic process by setting up firewalls of skepticism. We are psychics, not mentalists. Information comes through us from Spirit, and you’ll get precisely what you’re intended to receive. Your fixation on wanting to hear the one thing that’s going to convince you it’s real will block you from hearing anything else relevant. Instead, relax and please be open-minded to whatever comes through. We’ll both have a great time for it!
  7. There’s no such thing as a “Psychic Emergency.” If you are in a crisis situation and someone you know is a danger to themselves or others, do not reach out to a psychic for advisement; instead, please call 911, crisis intervention or some other community emergency response service. Consulting a psychic is one tool to support you in making proper and authentic life choices. One of my clients felt certain her volatile boyfriend was going to kill her. My reply was to reiterate the preceding roster of interventions. We have lives of our own, too, and are not on-call to micro-manage your life circumstances—this is unhealthy. In fact, I permit each client one, one-hour session per year. This disallows dependency while granting leave for any predictions to manifest. It is also important that you look within, not outside, yourself to build a spiritual confidence and resiliency of your own. When in doubt, and above all, have faith in your faith.

Happy Pagan New Year!

HAPPY PAGAN NEW YEAR! 3rd January 2016
For many Pagans Samhain is the Pagan New Year. That feeling isn’t universal by any means, there are some Pagan groups that celebrate the “New Year” at Beltane, and I’d be willing to guess that there have to be at least a few groups who celebrate it at Yule. World wide there are dozens of “New Years” ranging from the well known Chinese New Year to the Buddhist Songkran April 13-15. Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year (always 163 days after Passover) and the Russian Orthodox Church holds to the Julian Calendar and celebrates the new year on January 14.

The Truth About NEW YEAR'S!
How did the celebration of New Year's Eve begin?
Why is the beginning of a year placed in the middle of a dead winter?
And where did the many customs surrounding it originate?
by William H. Ellis [The Plain Truth - December, 1964]
MOST people carelessly assume that celebrating New Year's Eve is a Christian custom.
But did the practice of "waiting the old year out" really come from the Bible?
Is January 1 the true beginning of a new year? Who has the AUTHORITY to determine when a new year begins?
An Ancient Pagan Custom
New Year's is one of the oldest and most universal of all pagan TRADITIONS! The custom of celebrating it has remained essentially unchanged for 4,000 years!...........

The Pagan Roots of HalloweenAre the specific customs of Halloween related to pagan beliefs?
Since Halloween itself originated in paganism, it is not surprising that its customs are related to pagan belief. According to the Encyclopaedia Britannica. In ancient Britain and Ireland, the Celtic Festival of Samhain was observed on October 31, at the end of summer. The souls of the dead were supposed to revisit their homes on this day and the autumnal festival acquired sinister significance, with ghosts, witches, goblins, black cats, fairies and demons of all kinds said to be roaming about. It was the time to placate......

What is Tarot?

The tarot is a deck of 78 mystical cards. There are 22 cards that form the Major Arcana and represent individuals who personify a particular quality or archetype. The 56 cards of the Minor Arcana represent events, people, behaviour, ideas and activities that go on in our lives. For hundreds of years the tarot has been one of the most important Western mystical pathways for fortune-telling, divination and self -development. With connections to alchemy psychology, astrology, numerology, Kaballah, Christian mysticism, Eastern philosophy and many other esoteric traditions, the tarot is available to everyone. It is a mirror of the human soul.

Tarot is not 'spooky', nor is it 'evil', unless the person who uses it choose it to be so. The tarot is beyond our projection of good and bad and only reflects the energy of the moment and the reader. But we can project our goodness and badness onto it too. Using the tarot is a way to open yourself up to inner wisdom and hidden knowledge
Due to the Church's fear of anything esoteric that smacked of the occult, tarot became associated with the darker occultist arts, which is why people are often afraid of its power. Tarot is a symbolic pathway you can walk along on at any moment in life to see the truth about yourself 'through the looking-glass'. It is simply a series of stepping stones or secret pathways to self-discovery. It is a mirror to the self.
Tarot cards are mirrors of our emotions, feelings, soul and being. They are like reflections on a pond where the visual images remain the same but vibrate with ripples caused by natural energies like the wind. Tarot moves with you, so that you can work with life, not against it. The tarot provides a mirror image of ourselves at the moment we choose to look at our reflection. It is the past, present and future.
Tarot is about self-understanding and psychological growth. It provides an instant and direct way to understand the rhythms or patterns at work in your life.Uncannily, the tarot seems to 'predict' patterns or events that are about to happen. This may be our unconscious follow-up reaction based n the tarot's imagery at the reading. We often want a signpost to a decision, or a confirmation of our doubts or belief in a relationship. The tarot can give us clues to the sort of day we might have, or who we might fall in love with. The cards reflect our own hidden desires, actions and goals. It can also help to develop our own self awareness so that we can make conscious choices, understand the reasons behind a situation or give guidance as to the next stage of our personal life journey.
In fact, the tarot is all about you.

Can stress kill you?

Stress is your body’s way of responding to any kind of demand or threat. When you feel threatened, your nervous system responds by releasing a flood of stress hormones, including adrenaline and cortisol, which rouse the body for emergency action. Your heart pounds faster, muscles tighten, blood pressure rises, breath quickens, and your senses become sharper. These physical changes increase your strength and stamina, speed your reaction time, and enhance your focus.
Stress can be caused by a physical or emotional change, or a change in your environment that requires you to adjust or respond. Things that make you feel stressed are called “stressors.” Stressors can be minor hassles, major lifestyle changes, or a combination of both.
I have watched interesting programs like The Restoration Man and Grand Designs where I believe the home owners who bought those run down properties experienced a lot of stress to build their new homes. They built them making them architecturally brilliant or they updated a dilapidated Listed building. A listed building is a building or structure which is protected because it is considered to be of special architectural or historic interest.
When the home owners ran out of money during the project which happened on many occasions you would see them struggle to get the monies required to complete the project. Banks gave an approved mortgage before the build where it was agreed they would give money according to the amount of building works that were completed but then decided to withdraw the monies when due during the build.
Some of the owners literally had a heart attack during the project. Whenever I watch these programs I anticipate that there will be a moment during the film that the home owner shows signs of stress and getting ill from attempting the build of his or her new home. Of course some of these home owners had other illnesses which could trigger the heart attack but the stress just made it more likely to happen.
One of the most stressful things in life are moving home. I think it takes a lot of guts for these people to start such a big project when with the same money they could have bought a ready made home perhaps one which is smaller but still a ready made one all the same. We have one life and when we are gone we cannot enjoy what we have left behind. Is it worth all the hassle? I wonder whether it is better to spend that money in another way like taking a boat cruise or travelling around the world. I believe on reflection that we all need to look after ourselves physically and mentally more.
We should pamper ourselves more as this alleviates stress by having an aromatherapy massage or reflexology massage. I know this because I am qualified with VAI Diploma- 1999 in Aromatherapy and Reflexology and when I have felt personally stressed I get these treatments done to me. Spending money to pamper yourself outweighs anything else as no matter how much you spend on your new rebuild for example if you do not relax you could make yourself sick.
We always want to achieve more and more in our life. The richest usually want to buy bigger better homes than they have already but then if they never have children who would those wonderful homes go to when they die? I guess that most of us have relatives it can go to but all that work and energy to what avail? Our relatives will probably just sell it?
In the case of Graceland which was the home of Elvis Presley, after he died in 1977 neither his daughter nor his ex wife live there. It is now a museum.
Graceland is a mansion on a 13.8-acre (5.6 ha) estate in Memphis, Tennessee that was home to Elvis Presley. It is located at 3764 Elvis Presley Boulevard in the vast Whitehaven community about 9 miles (14.5 km) from Downtown and less than four miles (6 km) north of the Mississippi border.[5] It currently serves as a museum. It was opened to the public on June 7, 1982. The site was listed in the National Register of Historic Places on November 7, 1991, and declared a National Historic Landmark on March 27, 2006. Graceland has become one of the most-visited private homes in America with over 600,000 visitors a year, behind the White House[6] and Biltmore Estate.[7]
Elvis Presley died at the estate on August 16, 1977. Presley, along with his parents Gladys and Vernon Presley, and his grandmother, are buried there in what is called the Meditation Garden. A memorial gravestone for Presley’s stillborn twin brother, Jesse Garon, is also at the site.
I talk about Elvis Presley as an example of the pointlessness of creating too much stress for yourself to then die and not enjoy the fruits of your work. What Elvis Presley earned went to charities and his family. He died at 42 years old of a heart attack. Elvis Presley did not die of a heart attack due to the stress of having Graceland but due to his own demons which were drugs, overeating and I believe losing his wife and child as his wife Priscilla divorced him many years before he had the heart attack. Elvis also suffered from insomnia which causes stress so there are many factors that can lead to stress build up.
It is not rocket science to realise that we all want more in our lives and are never content with what we have. If only we could change this pattern of thinking in the world. If we earned a lot of money we should think of the poor and needy whom we could help before buying that amazing manor or castle for ourselves. When Elvis Presley died he had $6 million to his name as he kept giving his money away.
Stress is a normal part of life. Many events that happen to you and around you, and many things that you do yourself, put stress on your body. You can experience stress from your environment, your body and your thoughts.
I conclude myself that stress can kill you. But if you don’t agree, when you get stressed and start hyperventilating think of how far you are from having a heart attack? Take care of the physical and mental side of yourself and try holistic therapy which treats the individual’s body, spirit, and mind. You may cheat death in this way but note you can not cheat death forever as on-going stress only makes a person more and more ill until it is too late. Look after yourself now and remember stress is not age related.
Death can happen to anyone at any age as it brings on the same symptoms. I had a good friend David who died at 35 years old due to stress and over working. He was not sleeping for many nights in a row working hard as an electrician to reach his goal. Stress does that. It makes you have sleepless nights, worrying about the problem at hand. My friend died before he could reach his destination. He had other issues. His wife left him saying she did not love him and kept the family home. She had custody of their son. David threw himself into work. I never saw him drink or smoke. I believe he was very sad inside. I could see that in his eyes when he spoke about his son and how he still really loved his wife.
I was not a psychic tarot cards reader at that time as I had just graduated with my Psychology degree and was trying to start up a new business in lettings. If only I had known then what I know now maybe I could have helped David to improve his life style and advised him to see a doctor or therapist before it was too late. I was 21 years old and had little understanding at that time of the real world. I was really immature and trying to understand the meaning of life which is probably why I studied Psychology in the first place.
I made many mistakes myself in my young years just from lack of experience of life. I never let stress dominate my life however and I would get stressed many times. Thinking back now I knew that David would work 3 days in a row without sleeping and that should have been a sign that he was not respecting his health and wellbeing. No extra money earned is worth lack of sleep. David would do this on most of his jobs. Normally we all work an 8 hour shift, rest and then sleep 8 hours. I could never have known that David would die.
Stress is a silent killer.

Why did my partner cheat on me?

The worse thing is when we don’t understand why our partner cheated on us? After all, didn’t we do everything to make them happy. There can be many reasons for the cheating taking place. I will give you some suggestions. Perhaps your partner just wants sex because they are addicted to it. Strange but there are people that have sex addiction and need therapy to help them control it. A bit like alcohol addiction. We do not know what is in the mind of another person, isn’t it?
Then there is the fact that they may be fickle and they want someone more attractive. So what do you do? Lose weight, make yourself more attractive. But is it worth it? Only you can decide. You may or may not ever reach their high standards. You may just be time pass anyway.
Perhaps your best friend has been visiting you more than they probably should and especially when you are not at home. So you would not doubt your best friend, would you? Wrong. Don’t put temptation in temptations way. That’s the rule I live by. I have been stung too many times. Of course you can see your best friend but no need for them to hang with your partner when you are not around especially. Tell your partner when you are not in to tell your best friend or any friend that visits that they would pass on the message that they came or they can just call you and see if you are local.
Are you too clingy? Who likes a clingy partner? Lol. So don’t be clingy then. Give them their freedom. That saying does have some truth in it. If you love something set it free. If it comes back to you its yours. If it doesn’t, it never was.
The obvious answer is that your partner does not love you. Of course falling out of love isn’t always the reason for someone to cheat. But if they want more, then it is not in your hands. It is the power of destiny. You are also destined for something better if they don’t love you since you are wonderful, remember that.
You may find a post I have written enlightening: “How do you know if someone you love is using you?” https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/how-do-you-know-when-someone-love-using-tina-sawhney?trk=prof-post
So what do you do when you find out your partner is cheating? Let me guess. Go crazy? Wrong answer. Let it go. Remember it is how your partner feels. Your screaming and shouting will not solve the problem though it might make you feel better. Haha. In fact I know it will make you feel better. But to keep quiet is harder. Just go silent. Do not bother with your partner any more. Get on with other things like hobbies or going out more. Just don’t be there when they need you.
Revenge is not worth it and you know they are not worth all that mad angry energy you could exert. Let it be. Start moving on quietly with your life like a snake in the grass. Isn’t that what they were? No that is not revenge. I call it trying to make a better life for yourself without all those bad energies. Don’t you want to be happy and have a peaceful life full of good things. You cannot get that with revenge and madness.
What I suggest is not easy but your partner may come to realise your worth if you do this and if not it means they are not the one for you. Your dream partner may be still to come and it is normal to meet a few bad eggs on the way.
Tell them to leave once you find out they have been cheating if you wish or just let them stay with you. The choices you make do not belong to anyone else. It is not their life. I am a psychic tarot cards reader since 2003 and in my tarot card readings for customers I have come across a lot of things.
My own personal experiences are vast. I would have preferred them not to have been so as it is very painful when your partner cheats on you. It is hard when you are hurting inside. Talking to a good friend or even a psychic helps. That good friend must be trustworthy and that psychic had better be good as there are some fakes out there along with fake friends. Family is good to get advice from but remember when you are hurting inside so are they so is it worth upsetting them? You will get over this bad patch. It is called survival of the fittest.

How do you know when someone you love is using you?

With the increasing rise of divorce and single parents in all parts of the world, we should learn the recipe to happiness. Some people may know the recipe to happiness which is wonderful but what about the rest of us? How can we protect ourselves from a broken heart? Who am I to say I know the recipe? I don't.
I can only guide you to avoid you being caught in the hands of a fraud. There are so many people out there trying to get our money, get leave to stay in the uk by marrying a British Citizen. The demand for this is so high that the fraudsters feel nothing for you but will do anything to get what they want including pretend they love you, shower you with gifts and sweet words until they get what they want. After that you are nothing and they walk out without even looking back at you.
You were nothing to them from the beginning. Just a tool to get from A to B. Do not believe that you are so special that they love you and only love you. Of course some may be genuine but when you are in love you do not see what is in front of you. Listen to what others are saying including your family. They can usually see the real thing; the live performance in front of their eyes. But you know what, we are always right, isn't it?
So now to the answer to this question: How do you know when someone you love is using you? Unless you spend a lot of physical time with your partner or friend they cannot love you. The number of hours you spend together are vital. I understand quality is important too but in relationships a bond cannot happen without the physical time spent. This is my experience of love. There will be many out there to disagree with me but I know that you can not love someone by not being with them and just being on the phone all the time for example. Distant relationships can work if the 2 people have spent a lot of time together before being parted. Remember that after being parted, distance can always cause a barrier to the relationship blossoming also. They say distance makes the heart grow fonder. That is true too but not so much distance that you do not see other for months on end and the other person takes consolation in someone new who lives nearer to them. Of course this depends on the strength of your love with that person before you separated also.
If you find that your partner does not want to spend time with you as much as he or she does with their friends then you need to wonder why he or she is with you? Arguing with your partner about this will not give you the true answer. Silence speaks a thousand words. I am a Psychic tarot cards reader and I believe we all need to meditate and take some me time alone to think about each day that passes. Close your eyes and perhaps rest on the sofa just thinking. You can of course do this sitting at your desk but not staring at the computer. You do not even need to close your eyes but you do need to close all other thoughts out of your mind and just think about the problem at hand. Be calm and relaxed when doing this breathing normally.
Intuition and gut feelings will give you the answer. Children and babies use this innate power to tell whether a person is good or evil. They can usually sense the good or bad aura of a person when they enter the room. If you have kids check this out yourself. I studied Psychology to degree level and one of the most interesting things I found out about babies is that they even know if it is a boy or girl baby in front of them while both are fully clothed. You know babies look the same at birth and afterwards for a long time. However it is the dilation of their eyes that are different when they are in front of a boy or girl. This has been scientifically proven. it would be normal for a baby to be apprehensive of strangers as we should also be. Babies are more vulnerable physically and mentally but are we not the same even as adults. The amount of damage strangers have done to adults. We are usually very trusting when we have grown up thinking we can tell the difference between good and evil but we are so busy rushing about in our lives that we do not notice what is really in front of us. We need to stop now and again and think about this.
So what happened to us as adults? Why did we lose that innate ability? Actually some of us still have that ability if only we would follow what our third senses are telling us? I urge you to follow that third sense as I do. It will help you realise the truth of your relationship which may be that you are in a good relationship even. Many times I have made excuses for friends who hardly ever visited me saying ohh they are probably just busy and have their own problems. Is that true?
Then the time came when a tragedy happened to me in my life and I got clear perspective of all the people around me. In fact the friends I believed were my true friends disappeared. My true friends turned up on my doorstep in my time of need. I loved those friends who did not contact me for a very long time after I realised they did not love me in return.
Now when I look back I realise that those friends I loved and I would shower with birthday presents every year forgot my birthday every year. They never turned up with presents like I did to their house. It is the same in a love relationship. Does he or she care or remember your Birthday or Valentines Day. He or she does not have to be a romantic and give you a present but he should be with you on that special day of yours whether it be your Birthday or Valentines Day. After all do we really want the present or do we want to spend our special time with our partner either just watching tv together or enjoying a nice takeaway together or just cooking and fighting in the kitchen all day. I think being together is the most important thing to prove love to me. I don't need the fancy car or the diamond ring because when I leave this world I leave all that behind. I want to know that I have spent my time here enjoying myself with my partner not staring at the diamond ring he gave me and he is not with me.
This is a subject very close to my heart due to the experiences I have had and I believe it is this previous experience that opened my eyes. People like me only realise our mistakes after making the mistakes. We cannot read a blog like this and learn from it. At least I could not. I always thought I was right. I can write for ever on this subject but this is a blog not a thesis. I would like you to spend some alone time today and think about the relationships in your life and put each one in its correct box. Do not do what I did and loved everybody when I later found they did not love me back. I am talking about friends, family and partners. Love comes in many forms and whichever form it takes it should be the real thing. We need to learn to see through the ones that want to fool us and see the ones that truly love us.

What is Valentines Day?

Each year on February 14th, many people exchange cards, candy, gifts or flowers with their special “valentine.” The day of romance we call Valentine's Day is named for a Christian martyr and dates back to the 5th century, but has origins in the Roman holiday Lupercalia.
Valentine's Day, also known as Saint Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine,[1] is a celebration observed on February 14 each year. It is celebrated in many countries around the world, although it is not a public holiday in most of them.
St. Valentine's Day began as a liturgical celebration of one or more early Christian saints named Valentinus. Several martyrdom stories were invented for the various Valentines that belonged to February 14, and added to later martyrologies.[2] A popular hagiographical account of Saint Valentine of Rome states that he was imprisoned for performing weddings for soldiers who were forbidden to marry and for ministering to Christians, who were persecuted under the Roman Empire. According to legend, during his imprisonment, he healed the daughter of his jailer, Asterius. An embellishment to this story states that before his execution he wrote her a letter signed "Your Valentine" as a farewell.[3] Saint Valentine's Day is an official feast day in the Anglican Communion,[4] as well as in the Lutheran Church.[5] The Eastern Orthodox Church also celebrates Saint Valentine's Day, albeit on July 6 and July 30, the former date in honor of the Roman presbyter Saint Valentine, and the latter date in honor of Hieromartyr Valentine, the Bishop of Interamna (modern Terni).
The day was first associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished. In 18th-century England, it evolved into an occasion in which lovers expressed their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards (known as "valentines"). In Europe, Saint Valentine's Keys are given to lovers "as a romantic symbol and an invitation to unlock the giver’s heart", as well as to children, in order to ward off epilepsy (called Saint Valentine's Malady).[6] Valentine's Day symbols that are used today include the heart-shaped outline, doves, and the figure of the winged Cupid. Since the 19th century, handwritten valentines have given way to mass-produced greeting cards.[7]

Do first impressions matter?

Yes, first impressions do matter in all spheres of life, be it a job interview, meeting a prospective client, meeting your bank manager for the first time, and of course bumping into someone you may fancy. Having bags under your eyes or acne is not a good look. Use natural beauty remedies on your face to make it look its best for all purposes of life.
I actually came upon this topic recently when I did a small video after many years and my sister commented on the black circles under my eyes and how I have put on weight. She made no comment on whether my video was good or not in relation to the topic I was talking about but hey that's sisters for you. They only look at the bad bits and make sure they let you know them. It was then that I realised I need to take more care of myself. So here goes the research I did to enlighten those people who have not done a recent video of themselves.

Here are the top 10 ways to get rid of dark circles fast: Dark discoloration of the skin under the eye is mainly referred to as dark circles. It is also known as dark rings or shadows. Some of the main causes behind the formation of dark circles are heredity, aging, dry skin, prolonged crying, working for long hours in front of a computer, mental or physical stress, lack of sleep and an unhealthy diet. Both men and women of different age groups can have dark circles. Dark circles are not a serious skin problem, but they make people look tired, exhausted, unhealthy and older. You can easily get rid of unsightly shadows under your eyes using some easy home remedies.

DIY Homemade Face Mask for Glowing Skin: Do you wish you could have soft and glowing skin without spending a fortune on beauty products? Here’s a simple recipe for a homemade face mask that uses items you probably already have in your kitchen cupboard. The ingredients — extra-virgin olive oil, honey and baking soda — are really good for your complexion. Both olive oil and honey have moisturizing properties that keep your skin soft and smooth. Olive oil penetrates deep into the skin, helping repair your skin, promoting elasticity and reducing blemishes. Honey fights off bacteria, tightens your skin pores and protects your skin from sun damage and premature wrinkling. It also hydrates your skin and locks in moisture. The baking soda works as a gentle exfoliating agent, reduces redness caused by breakouts and boosts circulation. It also helps treat acne and pimples by removing excess oil and dead skin cells.

How to Make a Detox Bath to Get Rid of Toxins from Your Body: Heavy metals occur naturally in the earth’s crust. They enter the environment as harmful toxins due to activities such as coal burning, mining, smelting and a host of other domestic, industrial and agricultural undertakings. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), mercury, lead, arsenic and cadmium are among the top 10 environmental heavy metals most dangerous to human health. You may not realize it, but you encounter those and many other toxins and heavy metals on a daily basis. You swallow them through the food and beverages you consume and inhale them through the air you breathe. You also absorb them excessively from the environment through your body’s largest organ – the skin. Moreover, numerous products like deodorants, moisturizers and cosmetics that you apply onto your skin are laden with toxins.

Pick your cleansing routine for healthy blemish-free skin: Dermatologist-recommended methods to cleanse your skin. Our face is our front to the world. While the body is all covered up in clothes, the face bears the brunt of exposure to sun, dust and pollutants. As a result, every evening when you return home there is a toxic layer of dirt and grime stuck to the upper dermis of your face. This dirt not only settles on the skin but also clogs the facial pores, causing long term problems. Clogged facial pores result in infection and acne breakouts. While most of us do wash our faces every evening, we do not realise that a superficial wash, which does wash out the upper layer of dirt, does not cleanse the pores of the skin. If you desire a healthy blemish-free skin, daily cleansing is the first step to get it. Cleansing, toning and moisturising are the three essential components of skincare. If you do not cleanse your skin, you cannot treat it further with creams and moisturisers. 5 Quick and easy cleansing routines.
